My youngest daughter is turning sixteen this week, and I am having mixed emotions with the whole thing. I never really saw her as an adult, more so to be moving out in a few years to go to college. She has now changed interests and even has a boyfriend. Time definitely flies so fast and I can hardly keep up with how quick things have gone.

Since my husband has decided to throw her a huge birthday bash, I wanted to be able to give her something special which she can keep with her at all times. This is the reason why I chose a 14kt white gold pendant for her so she can be reminded of me even when the time comes that she leaves our home. This is my way of being with her all the time no matter where she may decide to go.

Anniversary Celebration

I must admit that I would want to settle down with my girlfriend already. At my age, I would want to take things further and be able to move on to the next chapter of our lives. My girlfriend though is still in the phase of working on her career and would not want to be weighed down with pressures of having a family and all other things related to married life.

This is the reason why for our anniversary, I decided to get her something a bit more special. I got one of those citrine rings online to show her my unending love and commitment to our relationship. I need to make sure that I would be able to make her feel that I am willing to wait and that I would not pressure her into anything she isn’t ready for yet. Hopefully this will be my promise ring in maintaining our relationship at all costs.

I would usually work with a number of accessories to match the outfit I am currently wearing. It allows me to look my best at all times and be presentable especially in front of my clients. As a sales executive, I rely on my look and image in order to gain the trust of my clients and provide them the assurance that they can allow me to work with their investments based on my recommendations. This is the way it is; people tend to trust other when they see how professional and presentable they are.

One of my favorite accessories to wear is opal pendants. They always match the outfits that I wear and complement the same. This is why I prefer wearing this over any other jewelry I have in my jewelry box. Nothing beats an ensemble which matches perfectly from head to toe.

My mom has always been a good dresser ever since I can remember. I can remember my friends back in high school and how they would comment on my mom’s clothes and how trendy yet classy she looked on them. Aside from that, she also knows when to wear the right type of jewelry all the time. She always wears something simple but she ends up looking very fabulous afterwards.

When you raid your closet it’s like you’re raiding the closet of a movie star. Her clothes are not that plenty but you can find a mixture of trendy and classic pieces in there. Her jewelry box is also the same. That’s why on her last birthday, I gave her something that I am sure she can add to her wardrobe collection. It’s a set of colorful scarves and also CZ hoop earrings. She loved them very much and I am happy that she liked them.

Birthday Dinner

I will be hosting a birthday dinner for family and friends this week. Since it is my 30th birthday, it is a special milestone for me and I would want to celebrate it with a bang. After all, this age does only come once and I would have to make the most out of it. My friend had helped me set up the party, along with inviting all the people who mean the most to me.

For the event, I would be wearing a simple white dress to accentuate the zirconia stud earrings which my father had given me early last week. Since he knows I am quite busy these days with the planning, he wanted to hand out his gift ahead of the rest. I will also be wearing the antique ring which my mother had passed on to me to complete my look. The only thing I would need right now are wonderful shoes and a date for the dinner!
